Section 1: Introduction
Whether you're planning a vacation, need time off for personal reasons, or simply want to take a break, submitting your Paid Time Off (PTO) request through the M7 app is quick and easy. The app lets you easily select your desired dates, specify the number of hours you'd like to take off, and track the status of your request in real time. Then, once approved, you'll receive instant updates via text message.
Section 2: Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Launch the M7 App
This app is most likely already installed on your phone from your M7 training session.

- Prefer using a browser? Open your preferred browser and enter your facility’s dedicated website URL: [facility name].m7health.com.
Step 2: Navigate to the Request Tab
- Click on the ‘Request’ tab at the bottom of your app.
Step 3: Add New Time Off Request

In the upper right hand corner, click the black button that says ‘+ New Time Off Request.’
Step 4: Choose Your Date Range
- Click the date range or mini calendar icon to open the calendar view.
- Scroll through upcoming months and select the specific day or range of days for your time off request.
Step 5: Enter the Number of Hours
- Below your selected date range, enter the number of PTO hours you'd like to use.
- If you’re requesting unpaid leave, you can leave the value as zero.
Step 6: Choose Days to Apply PTO Hours
- Click on the days in the calendar where you'd like to apply your PTO hours. These days will be highlighted with a green tile and an umbrella icon.
- Note: If you’ve chosen a range of dates, they will all be included in your request off. However, you will still need to select the specific days you’re requesting paid time off for.
Step 7: (Optional) Add a Note to Your PTO Request
- If needed, use the notes field to include any message or details for your scheduler regarding your PTO request.
Step 8: Submit Your Request

Once you've reviewed your request, click submit. It will then appear in the ‘Pending’ section of your request tab.

Note: You will be able to edit or cancel your PTO request until the time it’s approved.
🔔 Note: On your schedule, your request will appear with hashed lines initially, indicating that it’s still pending approval. Once approved, the hashed lines will disappear.
Step 9: Review your Completed Request
- After your request has been either approved or denied, it will be moved to the Completed tab.
- Navigate to the Completed column to view the status of your request, whether it has been confirmed or declined.
