To remove a staff member from your schedule for a limited amount of time, you can set a staff member to “Inactive” in the Roster tab. To do this:

- Find the staff member’s name
- Toggle their status from Active to Inactive
- Either leave the current date to remove the staff member from your schedule on that day or select a specific date for the staff member to become inactive.
This change in status will remove all of the staff's future shifts and preferences after the specified date from current and future schedules and will exclude them from future schedules in this unit.
